To my friend,
Your memory will live on in the many lives you touched. Even in the midst of your own heroic battle, you always thought of others before yourself. You inspired many with how you fought cancer with grace, dignity, and most especially with humor.

You will be greatly missed!

To the best "grumpy grocer" ever!!

Mom: You were always my hero!

Dear Karen,
I miss you so much. I miss all our long and late night phone calls. We would talk till 1 or 2 in the morning. Miss going for lunch and then our massages. We could talk about anything. Thank you also for being there for me when I needed you. I think of you everyday.

Love and miss you,

Dear Karen,
There isn't a day that goes by that I don't miss you. My favorite memories of us are at the beach each year. Waking up to the sun over the ocean, and how scared we were to go parasailing the first time and then couldn't wait to do it again. Walks with Jax (who is with you now), and the way I could make you laugh. There are so many things I could say here, but most of all I loved that we could be ourselves, it was effortless, electrified and the deepest love I have ever known.

Love Joey

Dear Grandmom,
Seems like only yesterday you were standing at the kitchen table making homemade pasta. Every Sunday was like a holiday meal and every holiday meal was even better. You put so much love into your cooking so that it would be just perfect. So many family members would stop by on the holidays just to taste your food before going to their family meals. You never complained. The more the merrier.
You fought breast cancer for many many years. You were so strong through it all. I take comfort in knowing that so many of our family members that have passed on are up in heaven with you now. I think of you often and miss you so much.

your granddaughter, Lucille (Lucy)
